This is, for the most part, the layman's re-telling of who I am and what I've done. The regs, disclaimers, etc: I graduated from Arizona State University and acquired a commission as a Second Lieutenant through the AFROTC program, with a major in German. Es geht mir doch gut! I had a great job at said university's Computer Accounts department for the last two years of my degree program, and it was one of the best jobs I've ever had. Hopefully the Air Force will top that one, though. =) I once had a job with Cutco for a time, and for whatever reason I can't deny that it changed me for the better even though I was more than happy about quitting. I am now an AMMO troop, having completed tech school at Sheppard AFB near Wichita Falls, Texas. I moved on to Ramstein AB, Germany, where I served one overseas tour of two years. I am now situated at a different location where I'll be for another likely two years, depending on how circumstances unfold for me. Apparently, my personality is one that is subject to frequent misinterpretation. I have been described as stubborn, ignorant, crass, good, nice, kind, cryptic, piss-poor, wonderful, cool, thoughtful, sad, resentful, judgmental, likable, rude, trustworthy, misguided, amazing, lazy, selfish, confusing, [too] conservative, enigmatic, unfair, clever, tactless, insensitive, overbearing, outspoken, bigoted, affable, valiant, "assish," respectable, controlling, idealistic, infuriating, incredible, presumptuous, and a wealth of other terms that are ambiguous when looked at cumulatively. Suffice to say, my attitude is positive overall- but there are certain things that can turn me in a snap if they hit me in a certain way. As a Christian (or, one who tries very hard to be a real one), I read the Bible; I study the Bible, and I try to understand and obey God's teachings as much as I can. This will usually/frequently become apparent as evidenced by the spirit of many of my writings. This means I will [probably] often come off as brutally honest, inconsiderate and closed-minded [though "closed-minded" is a term I greatly resent]. In any case, regardless of how one might respond to it, just don't forget that I didn't force anyone to read anything presented here. Follow the Golden Rule. Treat others how you want to be treated. It's just the right thing to do. Selfishness sucks. Modesty is a virtue. So is good personal responsibility. More of us should try harder to practice living by these principles. Even if you haven't developed an appreciation for them yet. If you dance, you are beautiful.
